History

Care
- Rhodochrosite is a soft stone, so care must be taken to prevent damage. The best way to clean it is with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Be sure to rinse the stone well and remove any soapy residue. Do not expose rhodochrosite to household chemicals or excessive heat. As with most gemstones, ultrasonic cleaners and steamers are not recommended. It is best to store gemstone jewellery and the stones themselves in a cloth-covered box or wrapped in cloth separately from other stones to prevent self-damage and possible scratches.
